OUR STORY

​After a brief stint of 3 years of ophthalmology training in the USA, Dr Ashish Sharma soon realized the enormous unmet needs in each and every sector of health care in India. India is home to over 12 million visually impaired people and this number is ever on the rise. Of this, approximately 80% fall into the category of avoidable blindness. To address avoidable blindness, we not only need extra efforts and resources, but also simple and cost-effective solutions that can reach every nook and corner of the country. After coming back from US, Dr Ashish Sharma was joined by his wife Dr Rohini Sharma in this mission.
